Quality & traceability

Make the project requirements visible in production.

Drawing revision, material documentation, inspection scope and component identification should be defined before manufacturing starts.

Recent ELCRIS product identification: drawing, order and production year marked on the component (02/2026).
Project control

Traceability begins with the approved drawing.

ELCRIS can maintain project identification and manufacturing documentation according to the agreed purchase requirements. The exact scope is defined during technical review, not assumed after production.

Drawing & revision control

Manufacturing references the approved project documentation.

Material documentation

Required certificates and material records are agreed at RFQ stage.

Inspection planning

Dimensional, visual, NDT or third-party requirements can be included where specified.

Component marking

Project and part identification can be maintained through production and dispatch.

Evidence in the part

Machined interfaces, marking and finish.

Quality is easiest to discuss when the drawing defines measurable requirements and the inspection scope is included in the enquiry.

Machined flange interface

Machined geometry

Critical interfaces can be machined and checked as part of the manufacturing route.

Finished machined bore in stainless component

Surface & bore finish

Finished bores and mounting interfaces prepared to the project requirement.

Finished metallic liner surface

Visible workmanship

Surface condition and finishing can be documented where the project requires it.

Part identification

Project-specific marking provides a direct link between the finished component, drawing and order documentation.

Procurement note: if the project requires specific welding procedures, welder qualifications, NDT methods, class attendance, material certificates or dimensional reports, include those requirements in the RFQ so they are reflected in the quotation and manufacturing plan.

Send the quality requirements with the drawing.

That gives us the best basis for a realistic technical route and commercial quotation.
